How to use roono
This is the study guide, not the quick start. Each chapter explains one part of the app the way a careful writer would want it explained — what it is for, how it behaves, and the rules it never breaks — with live facsimiles of the app you can poke at as you read.
Every window, timeline, terminal, and gate on these pages is an interactive HTML facsimile of the real interface — the same technique as the roono home page. Nothing you click here touches a real project. Where a demo needs JavaScript, the surrounding text still tells the whole story without it.

Read it front to back and it tells one story: capture, write, remember, source, protect, publish. Or jump straight to the chapter you need — each stands alone. Chapters build vocabulary gradually: a Moment appears in Getting started before the Timeline chapter explains what you can do with it, andpins are pinned before the Evidence chapter explains the gate they feed.
If you only have ten minutes, read Getting started, then Evidence pins & the publish gate — the gate is the feature that changes how you write. Keep Keyboard reference open in a tab for your first week.
