Terms of Use

These terms apply to your download and use of Roono, a native writing application for Mac, iPhone, and iPad published by raastey. By installing or using Roono, you agree to these terms.

License

Roono is distributed through the Apple App Store and licensed to you under Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA) unless a separate license is presented at purchase. Roono is a one-time purchase: $49.99, no subscription. Universal purchase covers Mac, iPhone, and iPad.

Your content

You own everything you write in Roono. Your projects, drafts, sources, and Vault contents remain yours. raastey claims no ownership or license over your manuscripts, notes, or research, and does not access their contents except as needed to provide on-device functionality you initiate (for example, export or agent context you approve).

Connected agents

Roono allows you to optionally connect a supported third-party AI agent using your own account or API key. Your use of that agent is governed by the agent provider's own terms. raastey is not responsible for the output, availability, or behavior of a third-party agent you choose to connect. Agent-suggested edits are proposals only; you decide what is accepted into your draft.

No warranty

Roono is provided "as is." While Roono is designed so that revision history, evidence pins, and the Vault behave as described in the app and on this site, raastey does not warrant that the software will be error-free or uninterrupted. Keep your own backups, and use iCloud sync or export as appropriate for work you cannot afford to lose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, raastey is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of Roono, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of published work, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Changes

These terms may be updated as Roono's features change. Material changes will be reflected in the app's release notes and in the "last updated" date above.
